Saint Anthony's Parish Catholic Primary School

Saint Anthony's Parish Catholic Primary School

St Anthony's Catholic Primary School is a K-6 co-educational Catholic Primary school and caters for girls and boys aged from 5 to 12 years of age. The current Principal is Mr Justin Devlin. The School is under the control of the Catholic Education Office in Wollongong.

St Anthony's Catholic Primary School was established in 1880 by the Sisters of St Joseph and is one of the oldest schools in the Wollongong Diocese. It is still located on its original site.

Because of the school's establishment by the Sisters of St Joseph, the school offers a quality education in the charism of Mary Mackillop. This is clearly highlighted in the School's Vision and Mission Statements.

St Anthony's Catholic Primary School was opened on May 16, 1880 by Srs Veronica Champion and Stephanie. Sr. Veronica wrote to Mary MacKillop saying "I like this place .. it is very beautiful. I expect to have a good school before long. The people are extremely kind."
